After the first few days of the ML playoffs, a few series took the full five games to get through the Division Play-In Series, while a couple were clean sweeps that took no time at all. In the American League, Wichita swept their series and is getting ready to square off against number one seed Portland, and their 95-67 record. In the other half, Pawtucket took care of the 911's, and will now face number two seed Philadelphia, who had an identical record to Portland.
A slight upset in the National League has Omaha moving on to face the number one seed Salem Slugs, who won 108 games this season. It took them the full five games, but Charlotte is moving on to the next round, where they will see Minnesota, who finished one game ahead of the Chuggers this season.
