Dominican goes to Tucson
The Tucson Pueblos made a big move today, signing an impressive CF from the Dominican, named Juan Moya. The speedy 20-year-old has the potential to be a gold glover, while also having the ability at the plate to be either a lead-off hitter, or a power slugger in the cleanup spot. Given an $11.3M signing bonus, Moya was immediately shipped to the Low-A club, where he is expected to make an impact from day one. Moya is only the third international player to receive a signing bonus of eight figures.
